How does one begin to describe Ally? Ally is the comedian here at Aspenkeep. He keeps us on our toes and is one of those border collies that can jump four feet in the air from a standstill. A description that fits him perfectly is “spring on a string”. Someday he will manage to keep all of his feet on the ground. |

ALLY ANTICS When Ally was named esprit de corps to match his personality, I had no idea he had the esprit of an entire corps in one body. Antics include: opening his crate door and just lying there (or if it’s in the middle of the night, you awaken to find him next to the bed staring at you); escaping to run the fence with the neighbor’s Basset Hounds (totally unfair to them); leaping through a car window open 8 inches to chase cows; and finally Ally is a pea picker. If I don’t throw him a pea pod quick enough while picking peas, he will pick his own. |
